Most researchers attribute an increase in the left atrium and changes in the left atrial myocardium
to the factors predisposing to AF. It is known that one of the reasons for the increase in the left atrium is diastolic dysfunction of the left ventricle, meanwhile, CHF in patients with CKD in most cases is based
on diastolic dysfunction. Atrial fibrosis is a common finding in AF. It is known that the formation of fibrosis in the myocardium is also a characteristic feature of heart changes in patients with CKD. In this regard, it is of interest to analyze whether a moderate decrease in renal function affects the frequency of atrial fibrillation in patients with chronic heart failure.
Arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia (ARVD), refers to the primary forms of cardiomyopathy and is characterized by the replacement of the right ventricular (RV) myocardium with fibrous and adipose tissue with the development of life threatening arrhythmias. According to different authors, the prevalence of arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia is 1 per 1000 population; other literature sources report that the incidence of ARVD is 1 per 5000 population. The ratio of the incidence of the disease among men and women in the population is 3:1. The nonspecificity of symptoms, clinical polymorphism, and the absence of a single method make the diagnosis of ARVD a difficult task.
